PRIORITY ISSUES OF THE FIRE SERVICE IN SASKATCHEWAN

The SAFC Board of Directors has prepared a booklet of the five (5) Priority Issues. The purpose of the booklet is to provide the reader with an overview of the priority issues concerning the fire service in Saskatchewan. It recommends actions that should be acted upon.

It is imperative for the Government of Saskatchewan to commit to ensuring the safety of all residents and that all necessary elements are in place and functioning well before any further decay of the fire services occurs. Further delay in the development and implementation within these identified areas could prove costly or even deadly.

We encourage the members of the SAFC to lobby their local MLA. We have copies of the 'Priority Issues of the Saskatchewan Fire Service' booklet available for that use. Please contact the SAFC Executive Director, Peggy Antonichuk to receive printed copies.
